Session 1: Utility Management

Registration: 8:30 – 9:00 am Class: 9:00 am—12:00 pm

Session Description:

  • Increase understanding of the financial, managerial and technical aspects of utility management and how these must function in unison
  • Enhance professionalism and effectiveness
  • Improve ability to protect public health and the environment
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Safe Drinking Water Act as amended in 1996

Session 2: TMF Tune-Up

Registration: 5:30 – 6:00 pm Class: 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Session Description:

  • This training is intended to assist you in determining the technical, managerial, and financial capacities of your public work system. The Tune-up will identify available training and assistance intended to increase your system’s TMF capacity. The overall goal is to help your water system ensure that it will continue to provide safe water that meets all drinking water standards over an extended period of time.

These FREE workshops are beneficial for Water Operators and Managers of Private, Public, and Tribal Systems.

Certified Water Operators can receive – 6 CDPH Water Contact Hours
