Disadvantaged Community and Tribal Water Conference
An opportunity to learn and connect

Join the Inyo-Mono Integrated Regional Water Management Program (IRWMP) for a day filled with celebration, collaboration, and learning focused on disadvantaged community (DAC) and tribal participation in regional water planning.
The conference will include:
- A first-time viewing of the brand new documentary film that focuses on the importance of water resources to DACs and tribes in the Inyo-Mono water planning region
- A roll-out of the findings of the IRWMP disadvantaged communities grant
- A tour of two small water systems in local disadvantaged communities
- Opportunity to connect with other communities with similar water systems and situations
Tentative schedule:
- 8:00 – 8:30 am – registration, breakfast
- 8:30 am – 12:00 pm – session(s) focused on DAC grant results, including first time showing of DAC documentary
- 12:00 – 1:00 pm – Lunch (provided)
- 1:00 – 3:00 pm – Tour of regional DAC water systems
