Session 1: Water Conservation

Registration: 12:30 – 1:00 pm Class: 1:00 pm— 4:00 pm

Session Description:

  •  This course will cover the different types of water conservation planning relevant to water systems of different sizes and capabilities.
  •  This course will also review the tools and public education materials available to systems implementing a conservation plan.
  •  This class will also cover potential issues with revenue that can occur when implementing a water shortage/conservation plan

Session 2: Budget Planning

Registration: 4:30 – 5:00 pm Class: 5:00 – 8:00 pm

Session Description:

  •  The guidance provided in this session will aid in review and development of budget information and Capital Improvement Programs (CIPs) for water utilities. This session will review the common budget spreadsheets and templates available and utilized in the industry

These FREE workshops are beneficial for Water Operators and Managers of Private, Public, and Tribal Systems.

Certified Water Operators can receive – 6 CDPH Water Contact Hours
